Joe just wanted to always have fun, he never met a stranger.
He loved the night life, and hanging with family and friends..

To my best friend, my brother, Joe Ramirez, until we meet again in heaven..
The Sprig of Acacia is an Evergreen leaf, it stays green all year round, it doesn't die.
In masonry it symbolizes, and it represents the immortality of the soul.
The evergreen quality of the tree reflects the human spirit, The immortal part of our soul that can never die. It represents the symbol that as the Acacia evergreen lives on, so does our soul.
Evergreen :
An evergreen plant is a symbol of the immortality of the soul. The ancients, therefore, as well as the moderns, planted evergreens at the heads of the graves. Freemasons wear evergreens at the funerals of their brethren, and cast them into the grave. The acacia is the plant which should be used on these occasions, but where it cannot be obtained, some other evergreen plant, especially the cedar, is used, as a substitute.
( Romans 2:7 )
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Joe Y. Ramirez wasn't a Brother Mason,
But he was as close a brother to me as any man could ever have been.
So i present this symbol, this Sprig of Acacia to my brother so that his spirit, and soul will live on forever ..
Vaya con dios my friend, you will be missed, but never forgotten, Go with God.

Joe was always very important to me. I always tried to be there for what ever he needed or wanted. This man he was pig headed, funny, compassionate, strong, love for his family and friends. Joe would say that when married David I married him to. So, I guess I did and I was ok with it. I love Joe and I will miss him so much. I would bake and cook for him his favorite was banana nut bread. When the chemo was getting to his tummy and he could not eat much I would make him one and he could eat on that.
He loved going to the movies when we would go he had to have his hotdog with mustard and jalapenos, pop corn, candy and a drink. I was blessed to have this man in my life

To the Ramirez Family,
My deepest condolences on the untimely passing of Joe. I know all of you will miss him dearly. He was a very special man and I loved him very much. We spent a lot of time together and loved to go dancing, to the movies, out to eat, and spending time with friends. I miss our long phone conversations. I look forward to seeing him again some day in Heaven.
RIP Joe

31 years my best friend through thick and thin, good and bad.
The first day Joe brought me in to meet family, his mom said to him he was bringing in a stray to take care of.
The family welcomed me in as part of the family, and we had 31 years as buddies..
