Obituary of Steven Wayne McGlasson

Our beloved Steven W. McGlasson, age 67, was called home on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Addison McGlasson.

Steven is survived by mother, Dora McGlasson; his wife, Dawn McGlasson; his daughters, Wendy McGlasson, Sarah McGlasson, and Samantha McGlasson (Houston Carrington); his treasured grandchildren, Shawn Dempsey, McKenzie Dempsey, Shyan Williams (Nicklaus), Zakary Dempsey (Dylan Fry), Patrick MacIntosh, Madison Carrington, Catherine Carrington, and Carla Carrington; his great grandchildren, Eleuterio Guardado, Asher Williams, and Kason Williams; his siblings, Linda Youngblood, Brenda Hughes (Richard), Teri McGlasson, Alan McGlasson (Rosie), and Paul McGlasson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  The funeral home will open at 5:00 p.m. that evening and close at 9:00 p.m.
