Obituary of Bertha Salinas
Our beloved Adelberta (Bertha/Birdie) Nuz Salinas, age 78, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 5, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Nuz and Maria Constancia Cavazos; her beloved husband of 31 years, Benito Salinas, Sr.; her siblings, Telontina "Tina" Esquivel, Modesta "Molly" Nuz, Natalie "Baby" Gonzales, Francisco "Frank" Nuz, Jr., and Rosa (Rosie) Napa.
Bertha is survived by her children, Melissa Salinas and Benito Salinas, Jr., (Adriana Bonjour); her grandchildren, Genevieve Parker, Benito Salinas III, Alejandro Salinas, and Elana Forgy; her siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Valdez, Victoriano "Victor" Nuz, and Ignacia "Nancy" Martinets; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Scripture at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.
An inurnment will be held at a later date.
