What an amazing friend Natch was to me. I learned so many things from Natch, the most important was what mattered most to him which was his love of family. There was absolutely nothing in the world that he loved more than his wife, Linda Lou as he called her was his everything. His love for his daughters was immeasurable. His grandkids were light of life. The love he had for his entire family was so awesome to witness. Not too many people are blessed with having such an amazing friend as I had. God brought Natch into my life 26 years ago and now has taken him home. Until we meet again my friend.

One of the nicest things Natch and Linda did for me was in 2015, when I was really struggling after losing my sweet Mom. They both surprised me by meeting me for 5:00 Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. That is just who they are; they have tremendous faith in God and act on it every day of their lives. Rest in peace, sweet Natch, and Linda, John and I are here for you always. God bless you. Love, Paula

We’ve known Natch for along time. Going on 25 plus years. The first time I met Natch, Janie was finally cancer free and Linda came to see her at our home and brought Natch with her and Vanessa and Isabel were still in school. Natch would say to me “Hey, Brother, Half Brother” and I felt the same way about him.
Janie was always our “paparazzi.”
We took trips to Las Vegas, Oklahoma, Louisiana.
Sometimes we would just go out for a weekend drive anywhere just to get out of Austin.
He never needed a map or ask for directions to tell him where to go.
One time on one of our trips he bought two roses made out of metal, onr red and one yellow, and gave them to Linda and Janie just because.
He would take us out to the places where he grew up and showed us the place where he lived.
We went to places and parks his family would go to when they were young.
He liked going to antiques, old stores working around the house. He was a strong man and a smart man but he wanted things done his way so I pretty much stayed out of his way and agreed with him a lot. We met his dad many years ago who was a baker. Natch was not a baker, he was a builder who created projects from memory and experience. He use to say “its already built in my head” I believe he could build you a house and if you wanted a carport, he would build you a two story room.
I remember asking him if there was anything I can help him with on one of his projects and he said yes, “stay right there” and we would laugh.
He loved Tejano music and his plants and would water them whenever he had the chance.
Natch hated to fly he would rather drive everywhere until one night we were sitting on the patio he built in the backyard trying to decide where to go on a mini vacation and Natch said he wanted to fly to Vegas.
Linda and Janie booked the flight the next day before he changed his mind.
We talked about happy and sad times, the good old days, and we laughed, joked.
Sometimes we would sit out in the back yard and listen to music all night.
He loved taking Linda in his hand and would dance with her outside and have a good time.
He saw his daughters, (his two favorites ) graduate and grow up strong into the women they are today. He danced with them at their weddings and got to hold and love his grandchildren.
Their home has a lot of memories of him and family.
He will always be a great brother, half brother and friend to me
We’ll remember and treasure the times we had together always.
We love you my brother, half brother until we meet again.

Please give me the strength and courage to move forward knowing you’re still by my side even though I may not be able to see you. Please give me signs that you’re still here. I can’t wait until you visit me in my dreams so I can squeeeeeze you & make you laugh.
