Obituary of Richard Dwight Dodson

Richard Dwight Dodson, age 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family.  he was preceded in death by his father, June Dwight Dodson.

Richard is survived by his mother, Myra Lee Dodson (nee Ladas); his wife of 32 years, Margaret Dodson (nee Pilkington); his son, Richard Scott Dodson and his wife, Brandy; grandchildren, Hadley Dodson and Drew Dodson, and his sister, Brenda Lee Dawson and her husband, Tom.  In additional, Richard is survived by numerous other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Friends and family are invited to a reception following the service at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Hall.
