My memories go back even farther than this pic Mama had. It was when Lee Sr worked at El Toro downtown and he sat me in my booster seat when we went in. He was always our waiter and we became friends with the family & followed them to every restaurant from then on cause they always had the best food. At that time I think only Lee Jr & Ruben were born! Mama Lucille had my ears pierced for me and put beautiful little crosses in them. She had Mama's done too. My Mama loved Lucille so much and would have done anything for her. She was like a 2nd Mama to me when I was still little and when I turned 17 she gave me a beautiful gold cross before I was baptized. I believe Lucille became a 2nd Mama to many of us! Lucille, You Will Be Forever Loved And So Missed By All! XOXO ~FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGLES~

Grandma was like a mom to me! She wasn’t your typical mother-in-law. She helped me raise my two beautiful daughters! She taught me how to make migas and carne guisada amongst other dishes. I love ❤️ her so much. She was the queen, the rock, the glue that held the family together with her kindness and love!
