Obituary of Rosanna Rodriguez

Our beloved Rosanna Rodriguez, age 58, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

Rosanna is survived by her partner, Louise Peña; her parents, Pedro and Janie Rodriguez, and her brother, John Rodriguez and his wife, Teresa; her niece, Brooke Murillo and her husband, Amador; nephews, Brandon Rodriguez and Justin Rodriguez, and great nephew, Eliseo Murillo.  In additional Rosanna leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Ave.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

The family of Rosanna Rodriguez respectfully request the use of masks if you wish to attend the services. 

In advance they would like to thank everyone for their understanding.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
