Hello,
For those who may not know me, I am the son in law of Rufus. This was my favorite picture from our wedding. I was in front of our family waiting for Cynthia and her dad to come down the isle. I love this photo because you can see the smiles on their faces. You can just feel the emotion and energy from it. When I first met him he was welcoming me into his home and his hospitality was heartwarming. He was always trying to make everyone laugh and tell you jokes. That’s the type of person he was, he wanted to make sure you were happy and having a good time. When we got married he started to call me his son. Which was a great feeling since I never had a dad growing up, the one I did have was my grandpa, but he had passed in 2005. He reminded me a lot of my grandpa. We’re going to miss you so much, and we will never forget you. It was an honor and privilege to have met and known you. We love you, and Rest In Peace.
