Obituary of Mary Frances Arevalo

Our beloved Mary Frances Arevalo, age 80, of Austin Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 21, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eulalio Arevalo Jr.; her parents, Charles Navarro and Catherine Barrera Navarro.

Mary is survived by her children, Charles Arevalo and wife, Cynthia, Eulalio Arevalo III, and Francisco Arevalo; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many more loving family and friends. 

Pallbearers are Rudy Arevalo Jr., Isaiah Arevalo, Charles Arevalo II, Matthew Arevalo, Thomas Faison, Charles Medrano, Nicholas Arevalo, and Anthony Hernandez. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph Rodriguez, Sergio Alvarez, and Carlos Arevalo. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas 78702. 

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
