To the Family of Celestino Chapa:
I am heart broken to hear of the passing of Chapa. We worked together at Channel 6 for many years. He was a dedicated, hardworking city employee who loved his job. He also loved his family very much. He will be missed.

Chapa will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He impacted my life in a major way by giving me an opportunity and a chance to learn about my career choice. I worked with Chapa as his Photographer for 7 years. I've learned so much and I will always be grateful for that. In the time we worked together I've been able to grow, gain real experience, and of course share many laughs. He had a strong work ethic and always remained confident in his abilities. I hope I can take that with me in my future opportunities. I'm incredibly thankful. Once again my deepest condolences.

I came to Channel 6 in 1992 to see how city council meetings were conducted.
I met Chapa that day and later that day I said to myself "I plan to work here some day" 3 years later I applied for a position at channel 6 and he hired me. He taught me very well and I'm still here today now with ATXN 26 years later. I will miss him and his funny sense of humor.
Love you Chapa.
