Obituary of Jose Ramon Torres

Our Beloved Jose Ramon Torres, age 77, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 30, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Luis Torres and Guadalupe Cuellar.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Maria Vega Torres; children: Jose Ramon Torres Jr., Maria Torres Vega (Edgar), Haydee Vidal (Juan), and Jose Ramon Torres Vega; brother Adolfo Torres Cuellar; sister Adelina Bonilla; grandchildren: Juan Vidal, Leonardo Vidal, Carmen Vidal, Belen Torres, Miguel Barboza Torres, and Lucia Garcia Torres; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and/or cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus, it is recommended that you not attend services. 

Please be advised that ALL guests must wear some form of face covering at all times. In addition, guests are NOT permitted to congregate in the lobby, entry, or parking lot of the Funeral Home at any time.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side.
