My heart, mind, and prayers are with the Rodriguez family and others who had the privilege of having Thomas in their everyday lives. I could always count on Thomas for a good laugh or encouraging words. I will forever remember him sitting on the bench outside the Cathedral School library waiting to pick up his grandchildren, Gustavo and Sandra. I will miss our conversations but I will always remember them. Rest in peace Tom and thank you for your kindness and encouragement.

My heartfelt condolences to my student, Sandra, and to Gustavo, and to the whole Rodriguez family at this time of sorrow. The rosary was beautiful. I will always remember Grandfather waiting for my class to dismiss at the end of the day....waiting with love for the grandchildren. He was a very special part of our CSSM family.

Praying for the Family. I was honored to be able to join the services via live streaming. It was a pleasure to have met Thomas. I remember when I first met Thomas. His quick wit made me and other quests at Verge’s house laugh and feel comfortable. May he Rest In Peace.

RIH Uncle Tommy. You were the light of any room
you walked in and brought the positivity and festive energy to any environment because that is what was truly you...radiating what was always alive within you. I enjoyed the time we shared as I was growing up (camping trips, reunions, holidays and gatherings) and the laughter and light hearted spirit you brought. You always managed to make me smile and laugh. Thank you for showing me how to diffuse life’s wind and build an appreciation for maintaining optimism in every stride of my walk. You sooooo loved to dance and it showed in your spirit by you always being the dance and allowing life to be your dancer that moves to the jovial rhythm you created. I love that about you and will cherish it until the next time we see each other again. I love you dearly. Thank you for being the beacon of light and protection for my Mom and taking her under your wing, now you will do so as an Angel from heaven. I love you.

Thomas was a great grandfather, I know Joseph will miss him dearly. You have always been close to Joseph so I know that my request will be granted. Tell Joseph, I feel his loss and please, please give him a hug from me. May your faith give you the strength to proceed further, knowing that Thomas will always be watching out for you and the family. Another special Angel to watch over you.

Our sincere condolences cuz. I will never forget when Tom would come pickup Mom (Nay Caballero) at the house to go over and help with the cooking and the making of tamales. He was a great man, father and grandfather. He will be missed. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Love y’all and God bless. Danny & Melinda Caballero

Señor Resendez was very popular at the Cathedral School, where he would pick up two of his grandchildren each day. Upon leading my middle school students outside for afternoon pick-up, I always looked forward to seeing him for a nice conversation and a laugh. He was so charming and really always had a kind word and something to make me laugh. What a wonderful, joyful person! I know that his legacy of love, joy and laughter will live on through all of his loved ones. We will all miss him greatly at the Cathedral School. All my love and prayers to his friends and family.

I met Tom in the late 90’s when Natalie was a participant in the University Outreach Program. I had the blessing to spend time with Tom and Angie. Their home was a loving place and the food was wonderful. Also, they made an effort to invite me to their family outings. Those are special memories for me. Tom always had smile on his face. I enjoyed being around him. He was a good role model. He was joyful and gentle. Moreover, Tom was a family man. I cannot recalled seeing him without Angie and/or or his children. Unfortunately, we lost touch for several years. However, early this year, we spoke with each other again at St. Mary Cathedral. He was the Tom I remember: gentle and kind. May you Rest In Peace, amigo. Deacon Héctor Ortiz

My brother Tom, you will be in my heart and mind forever. The moments we shared bonding as siblings. The conversations were special, the times we had coffee each morning will forever be great memories. Thank you for protecting me growing up and always making sure I knew you had my back.
