Obituary of Maria Victoria Gonzalez

Our beloved Maria Victoria Gonzalez, age 59, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, May 8, 2020. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Guadalupe Gonzalez; her children, Angel Gonzalez, and his partner, Cynthia Hoyland, Juan Gonzalez, and his spouse, Mary, and Mayra Gonzalez, and her spouse, Daniel Gatica; 13 precious grandchildren; and her sister, Rosa Moreno; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and numerous friends. 

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

A Funeral Liturgy will take place the following morning, Monday, May 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Chapel occupancy is restricted to 30 persons or less. 

If you will be attending, masks are required.  You only need where them in situations where social distancing is not an option so please bring a mask in case you need it.

Nuestra querida María Victoria González, de 59 años, residente de Austin, nació a la Vida Eterna el viernes 8 de mayo de 2020.

A ella le sobrevive su amado esposo de 41 años, Guadalupe González; sus hijos, Angel Gonzalez, y su pareja, Cynthia Hoyland, Juan Gonzalez, y su esposa, Mary, y Mayra Gonzalez, y su esposo, Daniel Gatica; 13 preciosos nietos; y su hermana, Rosa Moreno; muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, otros miembros de la familia y numerosos amigos.

La visita será a las 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario a partir de las 6:00 p.m., el domingo 17 de mayo de 2020, en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Una liturgia fúnebre se realizará la mañana siguiente, lunes 18 de mayo de 2020 a las 11:00 a.m., también en Mission Funeral Home.

Seguirá el sepelio en Assumption Cemetery.

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,

La ocupación de la capilla está restringida a 30 personas o menos.

Si va a asistir, se requieren máscaras. Solo los necesita en situaciones en las que el distanciamiento social no es una opción, así que traiga una máscara en caso de que la necesite.
