Obituary of Eudelia A. Acosta

Our beloved Eudelia A. Acosta “Duchess”, 71, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 31, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Gonzales and Eudelia Esparza Gonzales; son, Frank Acosta, Jr.; son Jesse Acosta; brothers, Manuel Amezquita, Jr. and Mike Gonzales, Jr.; and sister, Elena Gonzales Rodriguez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Francisco Acosta; children: Jacqueline (Sam) Hemsiri, Sandy Acosta, Ricky (Leticia) Acosta, Eudelia Rose (Joel) Anguiano, Raquel (Randy) Gauna, Jessica (Rolando) Hernandez, Jacinta (Mace) Hall, and Daniel Acosta; 20 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Candido Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Eudelia was a member of Greenlife Fellowship Church lead by Pastor Rene and Sabrina Lopez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Going Home Celebration will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
