Our sympathy to the family of Marco Montoya our good friend and fellow activist in the Reserve Officers Association of the United States, Texas Department, for many years. Marco was certainly one of the most dedicated members of the organization, singlehandedly running the awards program for all ROTC cadets, both high school and colleges for the state of Texas. He was very kind, always, and free with the time he gave to our and many other causes for so many years. We will miss him very much. Our sincere sympathy to his family on their great loss. Ralph and Carolyn Hockley, Carrollton, TX

To Marco's family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences from his Scouting Family. Marco was truly the driving force behind the success of Boy Scout Troop 489, sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was especially helpful to non-English speaking parents and providing transportation and leadership to Winter Camp, Summer Camp, and numerous weekend events. He will be missed by us all. God Bless your family.

On behalf of the Reserve Officers Association of the U.S. and the Department of Texas please accept our condolences on the loss of our friend and fellow patriot, CAPT Marco Montoya, USPHS (Retired) a true patriot and friend to all service members. I had the pleasure of working with Marco for many years through our work with the ROA. He was responsible for running our very visible ROTC program for the Department of Texas in which he interacted with all JROTC and SROTC units in Texas to recognize outstanding cadets. We will miss him greatly and will continue his legacy in the future. God bless the Montoya family.

Estimada familia Montoya.

Condolences from the Michaud family. It is hard for me to believe Marco has gone so soon after the death of my father, Alfred Michaud. May their meeting in heaven be pure joy! Blessings to the family!

To Marco Montoya's Family, Please know that as a friend of Marco's in that part of his life as a Commissioned Officer of the U. S. Public Health Service he will be remembered for his tenacity of purpose and his gentleman ways of treating others. My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Although it has been many years since he and I worked together on Latino population issues, his memory has stayed with me over the years and I was sad to learn of his death. May he rest in the Peace of God and may that Peace comfort you at this sad time to know of Marco's many contributions to improve the lives of others. God bless you, Henry Montes
