Our Beloved Michael John Janish, age 69, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Evelyn Janish; his daughters, Amanda Texeira and husband, Mike, Kelly Janish, and Jennifer Lightfoot and husband, James; his grandchildren, Jacob, Emilia, and Andrew Texeira; his siblings, Monsignor James Janish, Dolores Steffek and husband, Alvin, Isabel Steffek, Tony Janish, Rosalie Majid, and Tom Janish and wife, Debbie; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (South).
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd.; Austin, Texas 78749. Interment will follow at Cook Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery.
