Growing up with the Reyes Family, I remember Robert working at Davids Food Store and stopping by after school and seeing him stacking up the bottles outside the store. He was always caring and friendly. May God Bless the Reyes Family and bring peace and comfort, Revelations 21 1-5 Robert is now among others who've gone before him. Prayers to the family, be blessed.

Yo Robs, you have always been and will always be in my prayers. I love you big brother. You have been my hero since I was a young boy. I have learned a lot from you. You taught me how to look out for myself. And you taught me how not to be like you and to learn from your mistakes. I know you weren't viewed as a good role model, but that's because people never really got to know you. I'm thankful for the times you would come find me and let me help you out. I've always tried to be there for you. I never understood how you could live this way, but have always admired your will to live. When I was younger I knew that nobody could hurt me because you felt if mom didn't do anything to you,he werent going to let anyone else. I remember you would say "hell no bro mom doesn't say that to you or do that to you. That's why I handle them like that. So let me know if anybody tries." I walked around the neighborhood with a big head and my chest out. Knowing you would somehow take care of me. Even when you were gone your friends would be there for me. I don't know if it was out of respect or fear but you would say t's all the same thing. Thank you big brother for being you. Because you taught me how to be me. Like I told you the last time we talked- don't ever think you don't matter. Because you are loved out loud by me and silently by others. Like I told you when I was little, your name will always live on. That I would name my son's after you. You would laugh at me and say " okay boy, we'll see." But i named my first son Andrew Daniel Reyes and my youngest son Daniel Robert Reyes. And when you met them you couldn't believe I did it. You said damn bro you really did it. But you were my hero. I remember the good times we had at Gillis Park and Meadowbrook our old stomping grounds. I can remember the times I would tell you I didn't like not having what my friends had. And you would say you have a lot more than your friends bro. You have mama who's always gonna be there for you. You are special to her you little mama's boy. And you have me to protect you. Just listen to what mom says or I'll kick your ass! It was so funny how everytime we saw each other you would say what's up mama's boy and rub my head while putting me in a choke hold. I missed that as we got older. And you would laugh at me when I would say I was a mama's boy for life. From your little brother Victor (boy) Reyes. I love you Robs my forever hero. Like you would saynot goodbye but check you later. I hope your having fun up there with Papa Chuey, Francis Romero and of course your homeboy, Robert Romero. May God bless your soul as he blessed me with the times I had with you. Check ya later, bro.
