Our beloved Susie Tenorio Fuentes ?Nana?, resident of Kyle, Texas, went peacefully to her eternal rest and was escorted by the Angels of Our Heavenly Father on January 11, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Born March 8, 1926 in Kyle, Texas, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, she is preceded in death by her Husband; Manuel Fuentes, Parents; Robert and Cayetana Mendez Tenorio, Brothers; Sam, Mike, and Robert, Jr., and a Sister; Jesusita Tenorio. ?Nana? loved her church of St. Anthony?s Catholic Church, and was a member of the Guadalupanas. Very concerned and active with the children? education in Kyle, she was given the honor of an elementaty school named on her behalf; ?Susie T. Fuentes Elementary? with Hays School District. As we always known her as ?Nana?, Susie left many precious memories of her life that will truly be cherished to those who survive her. Survivors include: Bobby Fuentes, Sr. and wife Norah of Kyle, TX. Daughter; Rosa Lee Coers and Husband Tommy of McMahan, TX., Brothers; Blas Tenorio, Willie Tenorio and wife Adelfa both of Kyle, TX., Grandchildren; Joseph Castillo, Jason Castillo, Ida Simon and Bobby Fuentes, Jr. and wife April all of Kyle, Tx., 6 Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Memorial Visitation will commence on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 5:00pm with a Memorial Mass at 7:00pm at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church in Kyle, Tx. With Rev. Fr. Howard Goertz officiating.
