Rose Marie Gero 1946-2008 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, Rose Marie Gero, age 61 resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on January 2, 2008 She was preceded in death by her father Martin Gonzales Sr., sister Nora Gonzales, brother Alex Gonzales Sr. and grandson Christopher Hernandez. She is survived by her boyfriend Luis Guerrero; sons Rodolfo Hernandez Jr., Christopher Rene Hernandez and wife Denise, Ray Gero and wife Amie; daughters Michelle Hernandez and husband Frank, Roxanne Zamora and husband Rolando; mother Beatrice Gonzales, brothers Martin Gonzales Jr. and wife Mary, Edward Gonzales and wife Carmen; sisters Linda Acosta and husband Ruben, Molly Gonzales; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Recitation of Holy Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street (South). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, with Rev. John Boiko officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin. The family would like to give a special thank you to everyone who has been involved in Rose?s care and in her support system since her diagnosis in September 2006. We are truly blessed to have had the love and support we have had.
