Our beloved Armando Zapata Martinez, Sr., age 57, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on December 29, 2007. He is survived by his beloved Wife of 40 years; Hortencia Martinez, Children, Amandina (Abel) Gomez, Meliza Ann (Marco) Colombo, Armando (Grace) Martinez, Jr., Grandchildren; Alyssia Colombo, Ashley Martinez, Michael Gomez, Armando Martinez III, Marco Colombo III, Arthur Martinez, Abel Gomez, II, Albert Gomez, Adrianna Martinez, Alexis Gomez, Angelica Colombo; siblings, Alfredo Martinez, Pedro Martinez, Rodolfo Martinez, Virginia Alvarez, Linda Rodriguez, Shirley Chapa, and Raymond Chapa. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Juanita Zapata, grandmother Virginia Zapata Aguilar, a beloved Son; Arthur ?Tutor? Martinez, and a Brother; Pablo Z. Martinez. Recitation of Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Tom Franks officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Gomez, Armando Martinez, III, Arthur Martinez, Marco Colombo, III, Abel Gomez, II, Albert Gomez, and Michael Gonzales, II. Honorary Pallbearers; Alfredo Martinez, Pedro Martinez, Rodolfo Martinez, Armando Martinez, Jr., Abel Gomez, Marco Colombo, Jr., and Michael Gonzales.
