Martinez May 23, 1914 ? December 19, 2007 Mrs. Eva G. Martinez, 93 of Austin passed from this life to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Heaven is blessed with another beautiful angel. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be missed, but our loss is Heaven?s gain. Thank you Mom, for all of your devotion and love to your family. Thank you for all of the hugs, smiles and roses you gave to us. We thank God for blessing us with your presence for 93 years. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Martinez; daughters Matilde Ybarra, Rosita Zapata; granddaughter Veronica Diaz. She is survived by her children Candelario Martinez of Neiderwald; Eva Dittmar of Buda, Maria Vega of Seguin, Paula Hobbs of Buda, Simon Martinez of Flower Mound, Guadalupe Martinez Jr. of Austin and Ernestina M. Resendez of Buda; 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Recitation of rosary 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First St. (South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 8:30 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church with Monsignor Joseph Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
