Our beloved mother Jacinta V. Tanguma, 79, passed away, Saturday, November 10, 2007, Jacinta was born on September 11, 1928 to Catarino And Tiburcia Valenzuela in Lockhart, Texas.She is survived by her sister Florinda L. Valenzuela; daughters, Mary (Edwin) Eckman, Dora Tanguma, Carmen (late husband Tommy, Jr.) Cardenas, Susan (Jose) Ruiz; sons, Anselmo Tanguma, Jr., Albert (Maria) Tanguma, and Dale (Suzanne) Tanguma; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anselmo Tanguma, Sr., parents Catarino and Tiburcia Valenzuela, and sister Petra Gonzalez.
Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church (2110 E. 2nd St.) with Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Albert Tanguma, Jose R. Ruiz, Brian A. Tanguma, Charles Rocha, Fred Garcia, and Robert Cisneros.
Honorary pallbearers are Anselmo Tanguma, Jr., Dale E. Tanguma, Edwin Eckman and brother-in-law Fred Tanguma.
