Our beloved Petra Escalante, 76, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father to her Eternal Home on Friday, September 7, 2007. Preceded in death by her beloved Husband; Martin Escalante, Sr., her Parents, 2 Sisters, 3 Brothers. Survived by her beloved Children; Steve Escalante, Janie Rodriguez, Isabel Bueno, Rebecca Martinez, Yolanda Harros, Esperanza (Hope) Rodriguez, Carmela Olvera, Martin Escalante, Jr., Patsy Na?ez, Emily Pi?a, Louis Escalante, Tony Escalante, Geneva Sandoval, and Connie Levine, 3 Sisters; Beatrice, Guadalupe, Paula, 61 Grandchildren, 130 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Monday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00am at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be her Granddaughters; Connie Levin, Cristina Escalante, Tina Harros, Amy Rodriguez, Olivia Velasquez, Julia Lomeli, Marie Escalante and Debra Escalante.
Honorary Pallbearers; Esperanza Reyna, Becky Reyna, Rita Gomez, Dolores Garcia and Lydia Pi?a.
