Our beloved Manuel G. Ledesma Sr., age 91, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 24, 2000. He was a loving and devoted husband of 63years, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great- great grandfather. We will remember him for all of his attributes, love, honesty, loyalty, perseverance, wisdom, faith, and his guidance. Most of all, we will always remember in our hearts, his sweet smiling face, his warm heart, his good sense of humor and his little sayings, "Goosh Gosh, Golly" and "Parle Vous Francais". Mr. Ledesma is survived by beloved wife, Ann Ledesma; five children and their spouses, Mary Ann Ramos and John, Rose Villasana and David, Manuel Ledesma, Jr. and Rene, James Ledesma and Alice, Joe E. Ledesma and Janet; mother of grandchildren, Pat Champion; sister-in-laws, Lucille Herrera, Frances Rincon, Rose Tannlund; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by many loved and cherished friends. Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:30pm at Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 2pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
