Our beloved Refugia DeLeon, 99, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday July 29, 2007. Preceded in death by her beloved Husband Felipe DeLeon and one Son, Felipe DeLeon, Jr.. Survived by 4 Daughters; Josephine Marrero, Louisa Mendoza, Angie Anderson, Yolanda Villarreal, 3 Sons; Joe DeLeon, Rosendo DeLeon, Gilbert DeLeon, 2 Sisters; Josephine Perez and Luz Gamez. 31 Grandchildren, over 101 Great-Grandchildren and over 54 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Favorite Songs at 6:00pm with Recitation of Rosary Thursday at 7:00pm Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Funeral Mass Friday at 10:00am, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family.
Special thanks to staff at West Oaks Nursing Home, Daughters, Louisa M., Eva A. and Granddaughter Gina for taking loving and gentle care of Ama.
