Our beloved Santiago Martinez, 87, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 28, 2007. Preceded in death by a son Guadalupe Martinez. Survived by his wife of 66 years; Refugia Martinez; children, Esperanza (Joe) Nuncio, Gloria (Felipe) Ochoa, 11 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary Monday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Julia Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Boiko officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers; Ruben Nuncio, Juan Martinez, Jose Jaime Nuncio, Felipe Ochoa, Jr., Luis Alberto Ochoa, and Rigoberto Rodriguez.
