Our beloved Genaro ?Jerry? Hinojosa, 73, lifelong resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 27, 2007. Mr. Hinojosa was a member of Dolores Catholic Church, Retired Welder by trade and a well known Boxer. Preceded in death by a Daughter; Veronica Kennamer, a Grandson; David Kennamer, III, his Parents, one Brother; Robert Hinojosa and a Sister; Lucia Longoria.
Survived by his Wife; Lennie DeLeon, 2 Daughters; Gina Lawson, Ame Rivera, 4 Sons; Gilbert Moreno, Genaro Hinojosa, Jr., Peter Hinojosa and David Trevino, 4 Brothers; Jesse Medrano, Frank Medrano, Jose Medrano and Ricardo ?Rocky? Medrano, 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Monday at 7:30pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:30pm at Dolores Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Korcsmar officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
