Our beloved Mrs. Lena Arechiga Castillo, was born January 23, 1920. She passed away Tuesday September 14, 1999.Survivors include: Husband of 59 years Felix Castillo of Austin; daughters and husbands, Martha Garcia and Frank of Dallas, TX, Marie Velasquez and Roy, Jr., Carole Valdez and Rudy both of Austin, Grace Castro and David of Tomball, TX, Nora Ventura and Louis of Red Oak, TX; Foster sons, Arthur Aranda and wife Mary, Rudolph and Steve Arechiga all of Austin; 24 Grandchildren, 30 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great Great-child.
She will be missed greatly and forever live in our hearts and memories. We wish to give special thanks to the caregivers at Hospice Austin. A special Thanks to Mary Beth Kean and Dr. Jerry Fain who assisted our mother during her illness.
Recitation of rosary Thursday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, 10am, at St Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd. Reverend Msgr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are the Grandsons.
