Our beloved Arthur ?Billy? V. Martinez, age 62, a lifelong resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 21, 2007. Preceded in death by his Parents; Pete and Evarista Villegas Martinez.Billy, as he was known to many friends and family, was a U.S. Army veteran, served his country proudly and discharged honorably, rank of PFC, with the 2nd Armored Division Ft. Hood, Texas.
Cherished by his beloved siblings whom he leaves many fond and loving memories; Raymond Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Adelina Robles, Mary C. Canales Manuel ?Rudy? Martinez and Mary Esther Celedon, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
Recitation of Holy Rosary, Sunday at 6:00pm, Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Funeral Liturgy Services on Monday at 1:00pm, Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his Nephews and Great-Nephews.
