Francisca M. Thompson 1947 - 2007Francisca M. Thompson, age 59, passed away on June 20, 2007 after losing her courageous battle against lung cancer. She was born in Kingsville, Texas on July 2, 1947. She was preceded in death by her mother Francisca B. Morales in the year 2000. Francisca is survived by her husband Gary W. Thompson, daughter Priscilla F. Thompson, sons - Wayne E. Thompson, John A. Stocks, and Adam L. Stocks; brother David Morales, sisters - Eva Prasla, Eliza Camacho, Margaret Cunningham, Dora Rivera, and Chevella Quintinaro; grandsons - Matthew W. Thompson and Adam L. Stocks Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Francisca was a kind, loving, caring, and generous woman, wife, mother and best friend. Her courage and strength throughout life will always be admired. She will be missed and loved dearly forever in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May she rest peacefully in paradise above and look down upon, guide, and protect her loved ones here on Earth until we all meet again some day. We love you momma, may God bless, watch over and protect you always. Viewing and visitation will be on Sunday, June 24, 2007 with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, located at 6204 South First Street in Austin, Texas 78745. The funeral mass will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, located at 2435 Oak Crest Avenue. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Cemetery, located at 6300 William Cannon in Austin.
