Our beloved Concepcion G. Rangel, age 77, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday February 26, 2000. Mrs. Rangel was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church and a member of Grupo Guadalpana. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband Simon Rangel, Sr., her Son Simon Rangel, Jr., Daughter Mary Janie Mendoza, Sister Aurelia Rangel and her brothers Isidro Garza and Freddy Garza, Grandson Johnny Rodriguez. Survivors include: Daughters; Antonia Montoya, and Modesta ?Molly? Medrano and Linda Rico all of Austin, 6 Brothers; Elario , Frank , Henry, Martin, Sammy Garza, and Mario Aleman. 5 Sisters; Minnie Sanchez, Maria H. Ruedas, Ramona Dela Rosa, Annie Dela Rosa and Linda Medrano. She is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 50 Great-Grandchildren. Recitation of rosary Wednesday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are members of the family. Honorary pallbearer Jose Villanueva. Arrangements by Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E.
