Our beloved Herlinda S. Esparza, age 89, a long standing resident of East Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday April 23, 2007. Preceded in death by her beloved Husband; Alejandro Esparza, Sr., a Son; Alberto Esparza, her Parents; Francisco and Hipolita Sanchez, 1 Sister and 2 Brothers. Mrs. Esparza participated for many years with the Metz Senior Nutrition Program, initiated the Group of Senior Citizens who received communion at her home and others and a member of Los Milagros de Cristo Choir.
Survived by her beloved Children; Alex Esparza, Jr., Jesus Esparza both from Grand Prairie, TX., Bertha Rose Soto of Walker, MI., Armando Esparza of San Antonio, TX., Margarita Thurston of St. Charles, MO, Judy Maldonado, Rose Marie Segura both of Austin, 2 Sisters; Marie Marrero, Francisca DeloSantos, one Brother; Alberto Sanchez, 36 Grandchildren, 61Great-Grandchildren and 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Wednesday at 7:00pm, Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family.
