Macedonio G. Villarreal Jr. April 26, 1955- April 16, 2007Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Macedonio G. Villarreal Jr. (Boo-Boo), age 51, returned to his home with the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2007.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances, daughters Melissa Ann Villarreal (Branden Grimes), Natalie Marie Flores (Erick), Mary Frances Villarreal, and son, Macedonio G. Villarreal III (Crystal Hernandez), his parents, Macedonio G. Villarreal Sr. and Thelma Fields Villarreal, his siblings, Yolanda Lopez (Jesus), Thelma Esquivel (Ramiro Jr.), Hector Villarreal (Hope), Sylvia Torres, Robert Villarreal (Geneva), and Hope Rodriguez (Michael), mother-in-law, Mary Reyes, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mendoza, brother-in-law Simon Reyes III (Eloisa), his pride and joy, grandsons Ezekiel G. Flores and Trae Gonzalez; his nieces nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.
Boo-Boo was employed with the City of Austin, Street and Bridge, as an equipment operator for 15 years. He was a very generous and non-judgmental man, and touched many lives. He was full of life and lived each day to its fullest. Wherever he went, he made friends and any friend of Boo-Boo was a friend for life. He was very well known for his great bar-b-que cookouts, and would volunteer to cook for many benefits and functions. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Recitation of Rosary will be held Friday, 7:00pm, at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Mass of celebration will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Joshua Reyes, Ricardo Torres, Ramiro Esquivel III, Abel Frias, Samuel Lyons, Marcel Moncivais, Chris Cantu, and Frank Bustamante Jr.
The family would like to thank all the family and friends for their continual support and prayers during his illness. A special thank you to the staff at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital, St. David?s ICU, Rosa Moncivais, Carmen and Frank Bustamante and his sister Sylvia Torres.
