Our beloved Cruz Gomez, 87, was called to her final resting place by our Heavenly Father Wednesday, April 11, 2007. Our thoughts are rich with memories of her, who will forever be the light that fills our hearts leaving an everlasting impression on those she leaves behind. She is survived by her children, Olivia (Jesse) Benavides, Margarita (Domingo) Perales, Robert (Janie) Gomez, Roy (Linda) Gomez, Rudy (Leticia) Gomez; brother, Isidro (Victoria) Ramos; 26 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 54 great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, April 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
The family would like to thank each and everyone of you for your thoughts and prayers in this time of need. We would like to express our gratitude to Hospice of Austin. A special thanks to her care taker Bertha Martinez.
