Our beloved Mrs. Anita Gonzales Martinez, age 82, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 21, 2000. She is survived by four children, Mary Theresa Martinez, Henry G. Martinez, Jimmy G. Martinez, and Albert G. Martinez, Daughter-in-law, Sharon, granddaughter, Shania E. Martinez; grand children, Theresa of Piqua, OH, William of Houston, Tabithia and Nadia, all others of Austin. Also survive by a host of relatives. The Martinez family extends heartfelt gratitude towards our many family members, Religious priests, special friends Tommy and Penny Lichenstein, Diaz Family, Zamarripa Family, Carlin Family for the love and support we received. Recitation of rosary Wednesday, 7:30pm the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, 12pm at Guadalupe Catholic Church. Father William Elliott and Father Oliver Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery. Family reception to follow at St. Catherines Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd. Serving as pallbearers are members and friends of family.
