Our beloved Blasa E. Sanchez, age 78, of Austin, born on February 3, 1929 in Leander, TX., was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 18, 2007. Our Mother was a loving and caring person, she loved all of us. Her enjoyment was dancing and music and was well known for her tamale making skills. Survived by her husband of 30 years; Francisco Sanchez, Sons; Frank Garza, Jr. and wife Inez, Johnny Garza and Lucy, Daughters; Mary Garza, Carol Vasquez and husband Domingo, Diane Cruz and husband Frank, Irene Qui?ones and husband Edwin, Gloria Leija and husband Manuel, 2 Sisters; Espiridiona "Pio" Martinez and Janie Villela, 25 Grandchildren, 49 Great-Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, one Daughter; Maggie Ruedas and a Granddaughter; Anna Acosta. Recitation of Holy Rosary Tuesday at 7:00pm, Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:00pm at Dolores Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Ed Kadzielawski officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to Charlotte Overton and staff at Govalle Care Center, Angel Heart Hospice and their staff for the compassion and support during this difficult time. Serving as pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
