Infant Isidro Mario Rodriquez, Jr., son of Isidro Mario, Sr. and Priscilla Marie Maldonado Rodriquez was cradled in the arms of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 17, 2000. A little baby lay awake inside, He knows in his heart how much Mom and Dad tried To my parents, alone in a hospital bed, He closed his eyes and prayed to God, And this is what he said, ?Don?t let Daddy be too sad, And don?t let Mommy cry, Help the family not to be lonely, And not to ask the question why, Give my dolls to the little girls, Who need someone to hug, And give my bears to the boys at school, Who always sits alone on the rug, Take my flowers from my grave, And give then to someone who needs, A cheering up, a brighter day, Or who has a yard filled with weeds, Let them know I?m going to a better Place, And please, Mom and Dad, don?t give up your Faith,? And with his last heart beat he drew, He said, ?Oh my god, I want my wings to be Blue.? By your aunt, Jo Jo Infant Isidro Mario was preceded in death by his grandmother Otalia Mares Rodriquez. Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Pedro F. and Gloria Maldonado; Paternal grandparent, Julio P. Rodriquez and great- grand parent Margarita Rodriquez; aunts and uncles, Vincent, Jo Ann Maldonado, Gregorio Rodriquez and wife Irene, Julio Jr., Lucia, Jose, Josephina, Anita, and Angelita Rodriquez, all of Austin. The family extends heartfelt gratitude toward nurse Deanna, Dr. D. McIntyre, and the staff of the labor and delivery floor-St. David?s Medical Center, God parents to be Mathew and Angelica Gideon for the loving support they received. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 6pm at Mission Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday , 2pm at Mission Funeral Home. Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. will officiate.
