Domingo Soto Cervantes, Jr. 56 of Austin, Texas went to be with the Lord and Savior on February 5, 2007. He passed in the arms of his children. Domingo was born September 25, 1950 in Austin, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army from February 17, 1971 to February 16, 1973. He was Honorably Discharged. He is survived by his sons Thomas John Cervantes, Domingo Cervantes III and wife Anita, Dominic T. Cervantes and wife Monica, Richard Garcia; daughters Margaret Lynn Cervantes, and Estrella Cervantes. He is survived by his mother Amelia Soto Cervantes; sisters Dominga Moreno, Amelia Hinojosa and husband Rosalio, and brother Alvino Cervantes and wife Vera. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Joe Soto Cervantes and father Domingo Cervantes, Sr. Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel. Barry Parker will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
