Irma C. Alvarez Moreno 1963-2007It is with great sadness and yet joy that our Heavenly Father has called Irma C. Alvarez Moreno, age 43 home on Wednesday January 24, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Conception & Prajedes Alvarez.
Survivors include her husband Joe Louis Moreno; sons Xavier L. Moreno and wife Christina, Jacob L. Moreno and Jeffrey L. Moreno; mother Consuelo Guerra;brothers Frank Alvarez, Michael Alvarez and Tony Almanza; sisters Sandra Alvarez and Terry Alvarez; stepchildren Jessica Villalpando and husband Jason, Joseph Moreno.
Recitation of rosary Friday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Mrs. Moreno will lie in state Saturday 9:00a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church 9110 U.S. Highway 183 South. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Father James Martin, CSC will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Andrew Moreno, Alberto Ledesma, Magdaleno Moreno III, Jaime Castillo ,Justin Moreno and Michael Alvarez.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Tello and Frank Alvarez.
Many thanks to Dr. Carlos Ruben De Celis and staff, St. David?s nursing staff,Del Valle food service staff and all who supported Mrs. Moreno during her battle with cancer.
