Alice ?Grandma? Silva passed away peacefully on Dec. 26 2006. Alice was born on Mar. 12, 1935 in Austin, TX and raised by Guadalupe and Felix Ojeda. Alice was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan G. Silva, and Brothers Alex, Rudy, and Arnold Ojeda, and Sister Gloria Avila. She will be cherished by her children Armando Trevino and wife Judy, Albert A. Trevino, Rose Marie Silva, Mary Lou Silva and Rudy Ramos, and Daniel Silva Jr., 18 grandchildren and 3.5 great grandchildren. Recitation of Holy Rosary Thursday at 7:30pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home Chapel(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 1:00pm at San Jose Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Melecio Peter and Deacon Romeo Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rudy Ramos, Joseph Deleon and her grandsons: Albert A. Trevino Jr., Christopher L. Trevino, Robert W. Overy, Steven D. Overy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Angelo A. Overy and Adrian M. Trevino. We want to thank the RN?s at Seton Hospital ICU. A special thanks to Celeste and Steve. You are one of god?s Angels now, we will miss you every second of the day, but treasure every moment spent with you. We love you grandma.
