Nancy RuizOur beloved Nancy Ruiz , age 58, resident of Austin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 2, 2006. Nancy was born on December 11, 1947 in Taylor, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Celia Barrientos Villarreal and her brother, Robert Villarreal. Survivors include her husband of thirty six years Armando Ruiz; sons Armando Ruiz Jr. and Robert Ruiz and Michelle Diaz; two grandsons Daniel Baker Ruiz and Hunter Ruiz; two granddaughters Priscilla Perez Ruiz and Zayda Ruiz; two sisters Connie Gutierrez and husband Gabriel, Susie Ybarra and husband Ray; brother Luis Villarreal and wife Felipa. The family would like to give a special thanks to Odyssey Hospice Program for their care during the final hours and for their sensitivity to the family members who were care providers and were present. A special thanks to the family members who helped in our time of need. Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Rev. Msgr. Fred Bomar will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption. Pallbearers will be Joe O. Guerrero, Johnny Rodriguez, Rudy Villarreal, Bobby Villarreal, Ernest Ruiz and Ramiro Guzman.
