Our beloved Basilisa O. Castaneda, 81, a resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 16, 2006. Preceded in death by her Son, Ismael "Mario" Castaneda. Survived by her beloved Children; Jose Manuel Castaneda, Alfonso Castaneda, Jr.,Guillermo Castaneda Estella Guardiola(Mike), Alicia Castaneda, Javier Castaneda, Jaime Caste?eda(Pete), Cesar Castaneda, father of children; Alfonso Castaneda, Sr., Sisters; Maria de la Luz Rendon, Luciana "Lucy" Ortiz, Brother; Anselmo Ortiz, and many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Sunday at 7:00 pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am, St. Louis Catholic Church. Private Services will follow by family.
Serving as pallbearers; Manuel Castaneda, Alfonso Castaneda, Jr., Mike Guardiola, Mario Castaneda, Johnny Ray Martinez, Javier Castaneda, Pete Esparza, Jr., and Ceasar Castaneda.
