Mary Helen DelaCruz-Selvera went home to her heavenly father on Friday, November 10, 2006. Mary was born on November 01, 1964 in Snyder, Texas to Rosa Hernandez and David DelaCruz Sr.. She was a cherished devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Mary is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Selvera and children which include: Elizabeth Rendon, Jose Rendon, David Selvera, Celestina Selvera, Frank Selvera, and her granddaughter Ashley Rendon Alvarado. Additional survivors include her mother Rosa Gonzalez, sisters: Eva Gomez, Henrietta Sanders, Janie Contreras, Irene Arocha, and Teresa Gonzalez. Brothers include: David DelaCruz, Abraham DelaCruz, Arthur Gonzalez Jr., Robert Gonzalez, and Michael DelaCruz. Mary?s beauty, smile, humor, and constant laughter will be missed by her family and friends. Viewing will be on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Mission Funeral Home- Remembrance Chapel at 4:00p.m.. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Mission Funeral Home at 7:30p.m.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at San Francisco de Javier Catholic Church on Wednesday November 15, 2006 at 10:00a.m.. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
