Willie S. Fabila lost his battle to cancer on November 9, 2006. I am home in Heaven, Dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last.
Willie S. Fabila lost his battle to cancer on November 9, 2006. Born and raised in Brownfield, TX. He moved to Austin and married Wanda Renteria and together they raised 5 children.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie S. Fabila Sr., and his beloved mother Ruth Fabila.
Survivors include his beloved wife Wanda Fabila; children Jennifer Fabila- Becerra and husband Armando, Will Vicente Fabila and wife Myriam, Jesse Romo and wife Dina, John Romo and wife Leann and Willie S. Fabila III; 11 grandchildren; siblings Mr. & Mrs. Ray Garcia, Mr. & Mrs. Tomas Garcia, Ms. Amelia Fabila, Mr. & Mrs. Greg Rios, Mr. and Mrs. David Fabila, Mr. Henry Fabila; and his favorite uncle Vincente Fabila of Brownfield, Texas.
Prayer service will be held on Sunday, 6:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street.
Mr. Fabila will Lie In State Monday 9:00 a.m. ? 10:00 a.m. Church of New Life 801 Montopolis Dr. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
