Obituary of Zacarias Gonzales

Zacarias was born in Bastrop, Texas on July 5, 1924. He was raised in Manor, Texas. Later moving to Austin, Texas, where for over 50 years he served as a barber making many good friends along the way. He is survived by his longtime companion Gonzala Castro and his two sons, Andrew Castro and wife Esther, Pedro Castro and wife Vanessa, and two granddaughters Sabrina and Sierra.
Recitation of rosary Monday, August 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Prairie Lee, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are N. Nick Cardenas, Albert Gonzales, Henry Gonzales, Leon Hernandez, Felix Coronado, Frank Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers are David Jaso and Jesse Castro.
