Our beloved Rudolfo Gonzales, age 74, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday February 3, 2000. He was preceeded in death by his parents Victoria and Anastacio Gonzales, Daughter Victoria Gonzales, Sisters Florentina Hernandez and Julia Martinez and Brother Luterio Gonzales., Survivors include: Beloved Wife of 52 years; Anita R. Gonzales of Austin, 8 Daughters; Ellie Morgan of California, Dora Martinez and Husband Faustino, Mary Sandoval and Husband Johnny, Virginia Aguilera and Husband John, Judy Ortega and Husband Trinidad, Jr., Amelia Islas and Husband Robert, Alice Gonzales and Melissa Gonzales and Fiancee? Arnold Gonzales, all of Austin. 4 Sons; Rudy Gonzales, Jr., Tony Gonzales and Wife Rachel, both of Austin, Robert Gonzales and Wife Elsa Lorena of El Paso, TX., and Herman Gonzales and Wife Guadalupe. 4 Brothers; Felipe Gonzales, of Austin, Pedro Gonzales, Miguel Gonzales and Lucario Gonzales, all of Lockhart, Texas. Special Friends; Frank Rodriguez and Pete Castillo both of Austin. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren. Recitation of rosary Sunday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Donny Rivera, Faustino Martinez, Jr., Chris Aguilera, Issac Padilla, Abel Ortega, and Anthony Islas..
