Our beloved Janie Acosta, 70, of Austin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 after a long illness. Preceded in death by her Parents; Demitrio and Ethel Qui?onez, 2 Children; Moses and Abigail Acosta. Survived by her Husband; Moses Acosta, Children; Rene and Marty Acosta and Terry Moreno and husband Joe, adopted Children/Grandchildren; Martin, Gregory and Juanita Acosta, 2 Brothers; Demitrio and George Qui?onez, 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Holy Rosary at 7:30pm, Thursday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. J.C. Cain, OMI officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Janie fought her illness with great courage. She was a woman of great faith and love for God. We express our thanks for the care and love given to her by Cornerstone Rehab Center staff and to her devoted friend Carmen Salinas.
