Our beloved Jerry Tokola, 64, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday March 10, 2006. Preceded in death by Parents; Jaakko I. and Linnea S. Tokola, and a Brother; Veikko Tokola. Born in Rautio, Finland, Mr. Tokola served honorably in the U.S. Army with the 36th Army Band. He was a member of the Nash Hernandez Orchestra for many years.
Survived by his beloved Wife of 34 years; Annabell B. Tokola, Daughters; Denise Crace and husband Kelley,and Loupie Tokola, Mother-in-law; Rose Estrada, Twin Brother; Ray Tokola and wife Linda, Grandchildren; Vallery Tokola, Devin Tokola, Natalie Crace and Nicole Rae Crace and many nieces and nephews.
Evening Services, Monday at 7:00pm in the Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home (Cesar Chavez). Mr. Tokola will lie in State at 12:00pm on Tuesday at Serenity Chapel-Mission Funeral Home, 6204 S. First St., with Funeral Services at 1:00pm, John Hernandez to officiate. Internment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Garcia, Ray Tokola, John Hernandez, Kelley Crace, Leonard Estrada and Steve Besa, Jr..
Honorary pallbearers Jerry Goodrich, Lance Karney, John Farnish, Stephen Besa, Joseph Estrada, Scott Perez, and Anthony Perez.
