Our beloved Mr. Julian Cantu, age 84, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 17, 2000.
Sister Susie Zamarripa and son Miguel Cantu preceded him in death.
He is survived by beloved wife of 62 years Eva C. Cantu; daughters Lenora Ruiz, Virginia Maciel, Lena Ybarra, Emily Gil and husband Ron; sons Julian Cantu, Jr. and wife Rose, Arnold Cantu, Adam Cantu, and Arthur Cantu, all of Austin. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Wednesday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10am at San Jose Catholic Church. Reverend George Joseph will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are members of the family.
