Our beloved Jose Nerio, Jr., age 49, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday January 11, 2000. Survivors include: Wife; Henrietta Nerio, Children; Gerard Nerio and wife Lucia, Jesse Nerio and wife Farrah, Michael Nerio, Jo-Ann Nerio, Velia Stevens and Husband Eric, Jennifer Lopez and Husband Arturo and Sandra Villanueva all of Austin. Brothers; Carlos Nerio, Leonel Nerio, Albert Nerio, Frank Nerio, Ray Nerio, Isaac Nerio and Rudy Nerio all of Austin. Sisters; Mary Cruz, Linda Garcia, Anna Warner, all of Austin, Martha Mendez of Menchaca and Virgie Saldana of Cedar Creek. Also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
Recitation of Rosary Friday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 10am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are members of the family.
Honorary pallbearer will be Frank Nerio.
